B. Analytical and Performance Data

- Psychometric Assessment Metrics: Test scores, Item Response Theory (IRT) difficulty levels, processing speed, time per question, and category strengths/weaknesses.

- Brain Training Data: Mini-game performance, streak counts, daily goal completions, and level progression.

C. Technical and Device Data

- Device Identifiers: Advertising ID (Google AAID), IP address, device model, operating system version, and screen resolution.

- App Preference Data: Theme mode (Light/Dark), sound effects settings, and haptic vibration preferences saved locally via SharedPreferences.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

- Core App Functionality: To calculate accurate IQ scores, percentiles, cognitive endurance metrics, and generate official PDF certificates.

- Leaderboards and Competition: To publish opt-in scores on the Global Leaderboards.

- App Improvements: To analyze app stability, fix crashes, and optimize cognitive training algorithms.

- Monetization and Free Access: To serve advertisements that support ongoing maintenance, server operations, and psychometric question updates, keeping IQ Master accessible at no cost.

4. Advertising and Google AdMob Disclosures

IQ Master displays advertisements served by Google AdMob (a mobile advertising service operated by Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited). This section details how advertising works within our app in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies and applicable privacy regulations.

A. Ad Formats Used in IQ Master

- Adaptive Banner Ads: Displayed at designated non-intrusive locations (such as the bottom of the Training Hub and Standings screen) with safe-area spacing to avoid accidental clicks.

- Interstitial Ads: Full-screen static or video ads shown strictly at natural transition pauses (such as completing an IQ assessment). These ads are subject to cooldown timers and frequency caps to ensure an uninterrupted assessment experience.

- Rewarded Video Ads: Voluntary, opt-in video advertisements that users can freely choose to watch in exchange for in-app perks (such as unlocking a downloadable PDF certificate, receiving hints, or freezing streaks). Rewarded ads are never triggered automatically.

- Native Ads: Custom-styled ad units that blend seamlessly with the app clean design language without mimicking functional UI buttons.

B. Data Collected and Processed for Advertising

To serve relevant advertisements, prevent fraudulent clicks, and measure performance, Google AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and process:

- Google Advertising ID (AAID): A unique, user-resettable identifier provided by Google Play Services (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID).

- Device and Connection Data: IP address (used to infer coarse or general geographic location such as city or country), device manufacturer, model, operating system version, and mobile network carrier.

- Interaction Data: Ad impression events, clicks, view duration, and diagnostic logs.

C. Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Advertising

7. Account and Data Deletion Rights

In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, you have the right to request deletion of your account and associated data at any time:

- In-App Reset: You can clear all local app progress and reset your statistics directly in the System Settings menu inside the App.

IQ Master is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
